The media without a doubt football obsessed but then again it is predominate as a sport, so I get the arguments that support its curent levels coverage, albeit it would be nice to see sports like hockey, squash or badminton get a look in.

My observation regarding coverage post Olympics is that the level of active bias in favour of women's sport has reached a new zenith.....
For example -
The BBC is obsessed with years coverage of the Women's Ashes series, while I applaud the effort to offer some insight to this series, in reality most people don't really care about these games and even fewer care about fine detail of players getting called up the squad etc....
During the TMS Live updates page, we now get regular updates on the Ladies game, this is just wrong and disproportionate to value of these games.

Support for all sports yes, special programmes to give insights to minor sports yes, wall to wall coverage of sports because they are played by women no !
