I have just got back into golf from a 10 year absence and am looking for some new shoes.

I never used to like the formal nature of traditional golf shoes and have been looking into the range of more casual shoes on the market today.

These in grey are currently the winners.

What are courses opinion of these as if 10 years ago i turned up with these on i would have been turned away? Are places more relaxed now a lot of the pros are taking more a casual approach ?

I've got that exact pair, you've got great taste wink

They are very comfy, just like playing golf in your trainers. I've never once had a problem or been questioned about them, due largely to a lot of PGA Tour players wearing them!

Prices are also better than AG.

I've got some Adidas Samba's at the moment and can't rate them highly enough. Bought as a stop-gap as I left my usual shoes at the In-Laws in Scotland but these have now replaced my previous shoes. Unbelievably comfy, plus I picked them up from Sports Direct for less than £35!

Hello!

Thanks for the posts!

I ended up trying a few pairs on and purchased some Adidas Samba Golf shoes in indigo blue. I ended up buying these at Sports Direct of all places for 49.99
