My wife had never shot a gun before today.

But she decided to have a go with my SMK.

At 10 yards, with open sights, she took 10 shots, this is the result (ignore the top 2 holes, they are where the target was hung)

I shot the same gun at the same distance, and this was my 10 shot results.

She is now a shooting convert, and wants her own gun.

Nice one, Mrs EA!

I did a tiny bit of outdoor shooting (up on a moor) a very very long time ago as a kid... really fancy having a go properly one day.

Is that a .22 rifle or airgun. Only interested as I did shoot as a kid back in the 70s as a member of the ATC. Would love to have a go again but can't be bothered with all the regs.

Would there be clubs in London where you can just turn up, join and use their guns?

Cheers.

ETA Of course Google is my friend. It's an airgun.

So I presume you can still just go into a shop and buy one without paperwork but where can you use it. Back garden in London so only 14ft wide and 40ft long backing on to another garden.
