Ashes Test Chester Le Street

I'm lucky enough to be going on the Friday in the summer and was wondering about transport.

Is it best to drive, I can get a parking space, or use the train coming up from York and then walk/taxi to the Riverside?

I know the ground is just off the motorway, but was wondering about the traffic etc when things come to an end.

The ground is about 5mins walk from the station. I would certainly come up on the train, that's of course if I didn't live 5mins from the ground myself

The Town is really just one street, Front Street, so you can't really go wrong. There'll obviously be a load of people about, probably sheltering from the rain If you need anymore info just let me know
