Praying for more rain in Brizzy must ever so slightly alien I guess.

Aside from the inevitable result/non-result, could someone enlighten me why so many Aussies are masquerading as seats on a Sunday - genuine Q confused

What on earth are you on about?

Is there a match being played I'm not aware of?

No, it's that the convicts and Saffas get bored of beating the Poms time and again.
5 days watching them pray for rain so that they can draw a game is pathetic and, quite frankly, just not cricket. wink

Blimey, they finally dont choke in a crunch game/series, for the first time in modern history and suddenly they've gone all cocky! :P

Right now I think the Aussies would dearly love 5 days of rain whenever they see England!

I assume by 'modern history' you mean the few years since England lost 5-0 in Australia. About 5 years ago, no?

Or are you referring to the Saffas?

I can't tell...

Though rather shockingly, Australia have decided to play some cricket finally.

This, but hopefully it does auger well for a competitive series.

We need Starc to provide a bit of balance and variety, likewise the Saffas need their Pakistani import to balance their attack.

Another hour or two could have made it quite an interesting finish.

Roll on Adelaide and then Perth.

Not a bad day at the office.

1 x double ton not out
4 x single tons ( including one each to Morkel and Tahir with the ball biggrin )

Clark, the only man in history to score 4 x 200+ in a calendar year not to mention 4 on the trot. The Saffa's must be sick of the sight of him

What a final session, proper test cricket with human endurance stretched to the limit on both sides.

Congrats to the Saffas for a colossal exhibition of concentration and emotional control and our seamers for bowling themselves to an absolute standstill looking for a way through.
