Last winter I started doing a small amount of running in the winter around my local nature trail. I was running with a torch (Lenser P7 to be specific) and it performed great however it's a little awkward.

Does anyone run with a head torch, if so what are you using? Ideally I'd like to purchase a cheap one that's not going to eat batteries, am I best to look for something from Hong Kong?

I purchased one of these last autumn. Its a good item & battery life etc is very good. I did run down a few trails & to be honest I wouldnt recommend it alone. You can see ahead really well, but not where your feet are going, if you see what I mean. I did trip up which could have been nasty!. Maybe you would get on with one better than me though...

I couldn't recommend it enough! I have had about 3 cheapish ones, but then decided to get this one as it had good reviews. I can't find a fault with it! I use it all the time in the winter and it's really bright. More than you will need for any dark trails etc!
