The PH Olympics. Give yourself a Gold.

Used to cycle a lot when I was 15-17 and everyone always said I had a natural talent to do very well in it proffesionally. I could pretty much out-sprint anyone. As soon as I passed my test and got a car, I lost interest in it though. Shame really, as who knows, it could have been me in the Velodrome getting a gold medal today

Used to kayak in my yoof. However, I am no longer a yoof, so haven't bothered for years. Used to cycle a lot. Used to go cycling during 'games' class, and cycle the length of the Wirral peninsular along the Wirral way, and the promenade.
Still waiting for my Gold medal to be delivered.

winter olympics i would have a chance in the snowboarding.
last year in canada i had a go on a track that they used for the canadian national championships that same week.
Although i had a open track with no one else racing on it i got it timed and if competing in the championship would of come 10th out of 75. The top 20 of these were sponsored boarders too!.
If i had more time to board i.e more than two weeks a year on actual snow i would be atleast one of the top british boarders.
Its never too late though and with the indoor slope coming to cardiff soon i could still give it a try

I was alright at explosive stuff, pretty good at the shot put and 100 metres.
I'd never have made an Olympic sprinter though, at 5'10" and being a honky the odds are slightly against me. The shot put though, from time to time I have wondered what might have happened if I hadn't discovered booze.
