Watching Olympics coverage in the USA

Have had to come to the US for the week for work but would really like to keep up to date with some of the events going on, namely the Cycling Time Trial on Wednesday among other events.

US TV is as predictably st as always and apparently not showing anything other than the normal smorgasbord of American sports, and the only "coverage" I have been able to see so far has been still photos of the events on BBC America/News.

To add insult to injury, BBC website will not allow me to stream anything here, and Sky Go seems to be a no no too (nice to know that my licence/subscription fee can be used while I'm here...)

Does anyone know where or how I can view events live while I'm here? I only have an iPad with me too so appreciate some of the streaming websites may not work, but worth a try.

You will need a vpn service to get a uk ip address if your there only for a week then its not something you want to sign up for.
Try using expatshield its free. Yes you will get adverts.

Thanks for this. Since found out that it is NBC that is screening the Olympics here but didn't know that they had online streams too - will give it a go later when back at the hotel

Try CTV from Canada if you can get it on TV they also have an app on the iphone "CTV Olympics" that has live streaminmg via wifi and it only costs about $2 for the app

Neither NBC or CTV is working for me... :-( When going o the websites it then tries to redirect me to the app store before promptly saying "request could not be completed" - any ideas??
