Only ever watched NBA live once years ago when Houston Rockets (Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kenny Smith, Sam Cascell etc) came over for the McDonalds pre-season tournament.
Incredible night - Felt a bit sorry for the GB guys, at one stage they all came out for a warmup and got a polite round of applause.....then Harden and Anthony came out the other end and the place went nuts!
When it was GB V USA issues the crowd got behind GB (after the national anthem for example) and when the few yanks there started chanting U S A they got booed out real quick........but then whenever Chris Paul got on a fast break with LeBron tearing down the wing you feel the "ohhhhhh" as everyone got ready to go nuts for yet another USA play!
Players of the night were Westbrook (SOOOO fast and athletic...was getting his head on the rim in warmups) and Davis (all star in the making) But what summed up the GB problem was when coach K called a sub and put on ......Kobe and LeBron - how do you deal with that!
Oh...and sat near to Chris Mullen!
