Royal Ascot 2012 - tips, tears and tantrums
Discussion
I realise not that many are into horse racing here, but regardless, here it is. The Royal Ascot 2012 thread!
I'm so excited about watching Frankel I've got goosebumps! Here he is winning the St James Palace stakes last year.

Frankel with his owner, Prince Khalid Abdullah, and his trainer, Sir Henry Cecil.
A video I love of him galloping at Newmarket. Love how Queally is holding him up so much, and Bullet Train is no slouch!

And of course, the inimitable Nelly, AKA Black Caviar, fresh from her flight from Oz. Her 21st consecutive win.

Prepped for her flight from down under.
Elsewhere on the forum, Croyde advises me that sportingbet are doing fantastic offers over the course of Royal Ascot so check those out if you're having a flutter. Paddy Power are also going to town through the Royal Ascot event. Good luck!

Bizarre there's so little interest on here!
Anyway, thinking Born to Sea for the 3.45 St James Palace Stakes tomorrow. Arnold Lane seems to not be the total write off that it's 66-1 suggests, apparently.
3.05 King's Stand Stakes - Prohibit and Little Bridge, both e/w.

I have just bet £20 and layed Born to Sea as I got 9.0 on SportingBet and 9.2 on Betfair. My first qualifier for the free bet. You thinking it's a winner
ETA Mmmm I may of feked up there as the T&Cs say that the qualifying bet has to be placed on the day of the race.

Just bet again on Born at Sea to gain the £20 free bet. Now I can lay it for pennies lost or.........
Stuck £2.50 E/W on Arnold Lane in the same race.
Arnold Lane is a weird one. Martin Julian reckons he's heard only good things about it. For me, it has to be 66/1 for a reason. But I sure as hell don't want to NOT have a bet on it if it rocks home.Stuck £2.50 E/W on Arnold Lane in the same race.
Just been £50k stuck on Frankel.
Also took Most Improved. So it looks like this...
2.30 Frankel - nominal bet so Paddy Power lets me watch him pish up home 1/6
3.05 - Ortensia single 11/2, Prohibit e/w 14/1
3.45 - Most Improved e/w 8/1, Arnold Lane e/w 66/1
5.00 - Dark Ranger e/w 12/1
I'm terrible with the horses so hopefully my football bet comes off

Frankel can't keep on winning. I have Layed him for £50 so I only lose £7.50 if he wins but I gain £50 if he loses.
Are you serious? His nearest rival, Excelebration, has been well beaten by Frankel 3 times. The horse is number one rated in the entire world. He's an unbeatable machine! No chance he's losing today, barring injury.G20 - thought about Dawn Approach myself, he's well fancied although Sir Prancalot is seeing a lot of money fired at him.

Should have put my life savings on him.
