Very poor show from him (and his petulant "apology" for what he did).

Just caught the end of this, what a plum. He's got to be facing a ban hasn't he?

Yeah just saw that. He should have just apologised and taken the blame.

Hey us sportsmen are under a lot of pressure. Sometimes we explode.

I blame it on the fans.

I found that video slightly more amusing than I perhaps should have...

Utterly disgraceful, should be banned for life.

We were there.. and sad that it cut short what was up until then a reasonably entertaining game (especially at £98 a ticket too frown ). The weird thing was that hardly anyone in the crowd seemed to see it. Your eyes naturally followed the ball and by the time you looked back there was the umpire with claret pumping out of his leg. Consequently Nalbandian got a disproportionately large amount of support from the crowd who hadn't twigged exactly what had happened (without the benefit of replays or commentary). What a tw*t...

Ouch, didn't realise the umpire had actually been injured enough to bleed... What a tt the player was!
