Seems odd for him to decide not to leave Sarries when offered an England role, but now to decide to do so.

Would appear a classic case of RFU not wanting to pay compensation. Manager/Coach quits then joins who he wants. See Norwich City Football for most recent exampleSeems odd for him to decide not to leave Sarries when offered an England role, but now to decide to do so.

What I was thinking. So Catt moves on to Bath and Lancaster gets who he wanted in the first place. Feel a bit sorry for Sarries really, I'm enjoying the fact they've contributed to breaking the usual major club stronghold on the Premiership, and will this cause a major headache for them.I'm not sure this is the best thing for England though, I would not have thought Farrell is the person who will set the backs free...
