Wondered what you lads wear for your 5 a side games. I'm currently wearing Nike Mercurial's but they coming to their death soon so thinking of replacing them with a pair of Puma Kings which seem to get rave reviews. Any other suggestions?

Nike Bomba finale's

Boot specifically made for astroturfs.

Best astro boot I've ever used......and trust me......I tried almost all of them.

Best thing about them, other than comfort and traction (great traction on sand based pitched).....the Durability. They've been designed with abrasive pitches in mind. Whereas a lot of my boots previously have lasted only a few months before holes start to develop on the sides, these have lasted a year, and show very little wear on the upper leather, and the sole studs haven't been worn down at all. Since most of my playing is on sand based pitches.....that says a lot!

I go through about 2 pairs per year so here are my findings;

Adidas F30 / F50 tend to be tough and give me blisters. Heavy and uncomfortable.
Puma's tend to be tough but comfortable. Not tough enough to blister but still heavy.
Nike I find almost perfect:

Nike mercurials - my most hated boots as I broke a foot in these by doing nothing other than rolling over on the side of my foot. I find these too soft and flexible. Extremely light though.

Nike T90 shoot are my current shoes and most favourite. Nothing bad to say about them. Light enough, extremely grippy especially in the rain and firm enough to hit the ball hard. Will probably get another pair after these wear out.
