Training to be a Personal Trainer
Discussion
This is the second time I've considered this career path. First time I just wasn't ready.
I need to remain employed full time, so can only do part time courses or home learning with the weekends free.
Can anyone advise, or recommend a good training body to go with? I've been looking again at Future Fit.
Money would be coming out of my own pocket, and for an Advanced PT course, I'm looking around £4000. Is there any government grants available maybe?

personally i would speak to your local gym and find out who they recommend, most of them will moonlight as PTs or have a few they know. the PTs i know are always moaning about the cost of licenses for things like bodypump and insurance if they do outdoor sessions.
There is money in it and i think that half the time its just luck, get a good client, if they stick to the plan then they see the benefits and pass on your name, if they do the phys then smash in the cake and wine at home and dont notice any results, its going to be your fault... good luck, i have some good book recommendations if you want them though they are sports science/psychology
