What did you think to Spielman & Co's picks?
Absoulte corker getting the Browns to cough up that many picks for one spot and we still got Kalil!
Glad we moved back up to get that safety as well, hopefully the next few rounds should be good, possibly move back into second to pick up a WR?
I really think we might do well this year, well at least thats what I'm telling myself...

I really think we might do well this year, well at least thats what I'm telling myself...
Really happy with the Vikings first round. We lost a number of games from decent positions last year because our secondary couldn't cover and gave up huge plays with regularity, so to get a highly-rated safety is a huge bonus. We were expected to take Kalil and I'm glad we didn't try to get too clever with the pick.
All in all it's good to see the team going in the right direction after last years mess, I would be very surprised if we could drag ourselves out of the NFC North basement next year with the quality in Green Bay, Chicago and Detroit, but at least we are building a young team which will be competitive in 3 - 4 years.

Yeah, that was one of the most annoying things, entering half time or final quarter with a reasonable lead, just to see it dissapear.
I'm not saying we'll win the division, but, we've got a few games that we could easily win towards the start of the year, the end of the season is fairly brutul though after the bye week. I'd like to see us notch at least 4/5 wins this season, but more importantly to see that the team is going in the right direction with the new players.
What else do you reckon we should go for next postition wise?
I'm feeling reciver or corner (depends who's around when we're on the clock), as we need more weapons than Percy, glad we got Simpson in FA though, hopefully he can keep his stats like last years and stay out of trouble. And the need for corners is fairly self explanatory with the combinations the rest of our division has.
