I'm doing it for the third time.....dressed as Batman (with workmate as Robin). Every time I do it, I say never again.....

First one for me.... Running for Great Ormond Street Hospital, sponsorship link is on my profile wink

Runner number 40089... likely to be easy to spot, toddling along at a slow, but steady, pace smile

Good luck PH'ers. My wife ran Brighton and I am doing MK next weekend, needless to say neither of us got into London.

Are you the Batman I finished just in front of in 2010? I heard people shouting "come on, Batman" from about Km 39 (24 miles or so). Robin might have dropped out though as I didn't hear any mention of him!

Good luck to any of you or any of your family and or friends that are running. I know a couple that have just got back from Marathon De Sable and are having a little jog 'round london today. Men in white coats will be meeting them at the finish line.

Finished in 4hrs 12mins - had to leave Robin at around 10 miles as he was suffering and I couldn't run at the slower place (knees go) - splits below:

Having run the first part slowly really did feel good for the second half - feel fine now tootongue out

First time as Batman - have done Elvis and Captain America before biggrin

I got round in 3 hours, 12 minutes and 8 seconds to be precise!

Was my first marathon and I thoroughly enjoyed it - paying for it though now!

Well done to everyone who took part, the support of the crowds was a huge boost!

Well done all. I promised my body id never do anything thus daft and it kept running for me giving a 4.37.37 time. Beat my previous pb by 3 minutes. Got the day off from phtowers today so heading to pub based recovery smile
