So the 5th running of the Indian Premier League has begun, with the winners from the last two years Chennai Super Kings) being beaten at home by Mumbai Indians.

There looks set to be more English involvement in it this year too, with Pietersen, Shah and a few others set to get involved.

So, who's your tip for this year's title? Will Jadeja pay off his $2m pricetag? Will the Mumbai Indians finally live up to the hype and win the competition?

Well, as long as there's Cheerleaders, Danny Morrison's jokes and massive sixes, I don't really mind...

It's an interesting tournament, and has some top players but it's way too long now (6 weeks, 70/80 games?).

It's also becoming less about cricket and more about Z list movie 'stars', obese politicians and cringe worthy commentary.

Some of the salaries paid are incredible though - £1.5 million for 6 weeks worth is a far cry from what cricketers used to paid in days gone by.

Looking at the teams, I think Mumbai will win it this year. Their bowling attack looks top notch.
