So, the first major is up on us and with a few players playing very well I think this could be one of the best Masters we've seen for a long time!

Who you all backing? Can see Tiger being up there for deffinate, his driving is fantastic now and we all know he's got the short game to do it. Keegan Bradley has been hitting it great but maybe his putting is not quite up to it. Personally i'd like to see Rory win after what happened last year and would like to see him chasing down Nicklaus' record and pushing Tiger on too!!

One of my good friends is refereeing the tournament and gets to play the course afterwards. He played it last year too and said it is sublime. GIT!!!!!

Not a clue who's doing well on the tour at the moment, but I don't care.

I just love watching The Masters.

One of the young guns to shine, either Manassero or Ishikawa. Villegas to be in top 10. Just hope the weather's nice!

I don't follow golf that closely week in week out but Donald has obviously got the short game....his length is probably more of a disadvantage at The Masters than anywhere else though since they lengthend it when Tiger ripped it up. Which is the most counter intuitive thing I have ever seen........lets make the course longer to give long hitters a bigger advantage confusedscratchchin

I know Rory has taken a few weeks off but is he playing this weekend? I'd be a bit concerned if he is going straight to the Masters after such a break!

Would be good to see Els qualify this weekend but i fear he'll have to rely on an (unlikely but possible) invite to get there.

If he can keep his driving solid then Woods may well be the one, although if i were a betting man ... Donald.

I'd love to see Donald win at least one major but I've always felt his first would be the US Open or PGA. He's certainly got the short game but length is a problem and he's never really lit it up round there!!

Can't wait for this year's Masters - If I were a betting man though I would have a few quid on either Rory (will be refreshed following a few weeks off), Tiger (seems to be hitting form at the right time and always plays well there) or Adam Scott (who has also been there or there abouts in the last couple of years). My outside bet would be Zach Johnson (great putter and has won there before in 2007) smile

Very open this year.

I'd rather see Westwood win but suspect it will be close but no cigar again.

Hard to pick a serious contender outside of Woods, Donald or Rory but I wouldnt be surprised by someone like Kaymer or Keegan Bradley.

LIke you, i'd love to see Westwood win it, but i don't think he has the necessary to get across the finishing line in a major, however fingers crossed for the Masters again, but i suspect Eldrick may have timed his return to form just right. Manufactured or just coincedence?

whoever wins it will be the amazing sporting spectacle and drama filled weekend it always is.

I would love to see a home nations player win it...however some players raise their game for augusta so hard to discount the Tiger and Mickleson...

Ricky Fowler and Bubba Gump I expect to show...

Looking forward to it, even better that it coincides with the Easter holiday so can watch 'til the bitter end. I'm going for a Rory win.

Why not? You dont have to like the guy (I dont particularly either) but you can still appreciate what it might take if he were to pull it out the bag (intended).

Always excited for this week in Georgia, can't remember ever being this excited though, has all the makings of a classic.

The bloody satellite TV provider here decided in their infinite wisdom to remove Fox Sports from my package from the 1st of Aprl, I can't even pay for it frown

Will have to try and hook up Sky Go using my parents sky account and a VPN.

As for who will do well, hard to look beyond Tigger and Rors at this point, if I were a betting man I would have a punt on Steve Stricker as well.
