Good luck with Kauto. Understand it had a trip week before last at trainers yard and was 50/50 to run.

Some poor races this year compared to others.

Absolutely!!

Gold Cup is a must this year, most anticipated race for decades.

If the rumours of the trip and Star is in trouble are correct then there will be a lot of disappointed folk about.

When he was pulled up at Punchestown? I thought that may be the end.

I can't see the trip being a problem for him, Long run may be the problem!

I live just north of Cheltenham - and won't be going anywhere Cheltenham whilst the festival is on (or more to the point, when people are not at the race course)

That aside - its a great day out, good luck to all who go and spend loads of cash in our local economy - Ta smile

I'm on Tetlami in the first.

Can't wait will be watching everyday down the pub. drink

Over the past 3 months I've been trickling the odd couple of quid onto Weird Al for the Gold Cup. Got about £25 each-way on it @ 20-1. It's now around 11-1 so it's obviously been backed quite heavily.

Can't get my head around Long Runs jockey (Sam Waley-Cohen)as I don't think He's getting the most out of a fine horse. Kauto Star - well it would be fabulous if He could do it again but He does like to hit the last but one fence too hard. hehe

Galileo's choice for me in the first. Not going to bother with the second as I think Sprinter Sacre has that one sown up.

If you bet with Paddy Power they are refunding all losing single stakes if Sprinter wins. Makes an each-way punt on Menorah interesting. scratchchin

Cue Card or Menorah could be a decent shout then. Both good prices.

I've got my 7 donkeys for today! Reliable E/W bets anyway for our £20 challenge!

You must spend £20 on the first day and you must enter atleast 3 races.
Then make as much money for the rest of the week with your winnings...if you return any

Cue Card
Fruity O'Rooney
Overturn
Balthazor King

But that isn't a single bet, so they won't refund you.

Thinking about Tullamore Dew. Depends, if the Strongbow has kicked in before the off it'll be a sentimental bet on Billie Magern. hehe

It's two single bets they will pay out on the each way and return the win stake. At least that's what they've done in the past.

Tullamore Dew could be a good shout. The race itself looks like a minefield to me with many possible winners.
