I generally went on BBC Sports for my sports news and checking the latest scores etc

but the new updated site is just awful.

So what website's do you guys use? Ideally not just football ones but something that covers other sports too

It's slow to update, though... anything between 5 seconds and 2 minutes.

I don't think it's too bad, for me it isn't any worse than before in terms of usability/content. Try ESPN.co.uk and Sky Sports, I'm not aware of any better, or even any other, general sports sites for UK interests.

Or stick to individual sport sites and forums, there are plenty of good ones for every sport.

For football the Sky Football App is brilliant if you have an iPhone for updated scores and text commentary on each game.

I don't use it myself but what about http://soccernet.espn.go.com/?cc=5739 ?I use their cricket site http://www.espncricinfo.com/ which is a very good site and apparently the biggest sports website in the world dedicated to a single sport (helps when a billion Indians are obsessed with it).

If you click on the BBC Sport Olympics page there is a pop-up survey asking you about the new look site. It only takes 2 mins to give them both barrels on the new dog's breakfast. Fill yer boots! Who knows, they may switch it back - god knows there's enough whinging across all the BBC blogs about it.
