Apart from rest, go and see a sports physio to see what you need to do. General remedies are stretching more, run on your midsole and toes and not your heel and orthotics if you need them

Stick a golf ball or tennis ball in the freezer and then when cold, roll it around over the affected area.

Amputation. It's the only way.... wink

Or a good sports physio. You know, whatever works for you...

No magic cure.

Rest, ice, whiskey.

The main one is time and patience. Stretchng the calfs helps but you need to it properly and regularly (nodoby ever does).

Did you just run a half marathon out of the blue or did you work up to it? Has it happened before?

Depending on where you live your can either refer yourself or via the GP, to the podiatry dept. We are currently seeing new patients within 2 weeks of applying so if you are going to do it, do it now.

They say that Kinesiology tape is good. My brother uses it for his knees.

Doc prescribed me a strong Ibuprofen which I took twice daily - lasted about 3 days after I started treatment and pain reduced daily.
