Leeds looked like a team preserving themselves for this coming Friday night.
pity really as its important to take momentum into those games if they are serious about winning it.
not sure if WCC is getting out-dated now.....
as a game the wigan leeds match was a bit of a non-event I thought.... not your usual high tempo blood a guts affairs - like last season for example....
bit odd

Probably a case of finding their feet - both teams, all teams in fact.pity really as its important to take momentum into those games if they are serious about winning it.

THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES:
Saturday, 18 February 2012
Catalan Dragons v Castleford, 14:30
Huddersfield v Warrington, 16:45
Sunday, 19 February 2012
Bradford v Wigan, 15:00
Hull v London Broncos, 17:45
Hull K R v St Helens, 15:00
Widnes v Salford, 15:00
My call would be wins for:
Catalans vs Cas - would say Catalans but Ian Millward seems to be getting things together there.
Huddersfield vs Warrington - hmm, not sure - hope both do a lot of damage to the other. Ultimately as a Saint, would prefer to see Hudds win but reckon Wire might just do it.
Bradford vs Wigan - Got to be Wigan (unfortnately! sorry Andy but i know if boot was on other foot...!)
Hull FC vs Broncos - Hull.
Hull KR vs Saints - Saints, but we do always seem to struggle with both Hull sides so i'm airing on the cautious side.
Widnes vs Salford - well, somebody has to win. I think Salford will. Longy will have them raring to go after last week's second half washout at our place.
As for Leeds vs Manly - not sure.
It's a bit of a nothing - that last game to become world champs.
We got crushed by Cronulla in 1997, and again by Sydney (i think) in 2000 or was it 2001. Anyway, was there at the Reebok.
However, when we won it in 2007 (again i think it was 2007 - dates are a problem for me since we had kids - can't remember anything these days!) was great.
My prediction? Tough one to call. Nice to see an English side win in what is often called an Aussie dominated sport, even if it is Leeds! But then as far as NRL teams go, Manly are one of my favourites. Can't call it really.
