Yep - nothing to do with being in London mind, or a calender with some boobs on it.

The Olympics are brilliant, end of.

My only interest in the Olympics would be if the shooting competition used those responsible for this outrageous waste of my money as targets. rage

It’s nothing but self-aggrandisement for a few politicians and an excuse for fleecing the taxpayer.

No, and I'm refusing to do any business connected to it, purely on traffic issues, in fact we will be avoiding London City Airport altogether.

No and still no.

Not because its cool to play it down but because I find watching sport boring. Watching people running around a track is guaranteed to put me to sleep.

Oh and its going to cost too much

How many of the naysayers do a sport (recreationally or professionally) that is part of the Olympics?

How many of the naysayers even excercise regularly...

Nope sorry

I need to exercise more
I need to spend more time playing sport
I need to encourage my kids more with both

However, unless the Olympics can do my fecking job and pay my bills I'm affraid they'll have to wait....

What on earth has that to do with anything?

Even when i was very active doing excercise every day i still hated watching sport Field sports especially.

I'm looking forward to it. Friends (and ex-training partners) of mine are hoping to be selected and I'll probably go to watch the marathons on the course somewhere.

Whatever sport you compete at will invariably lead to an interest. If you do Marathons you'll probably be interested in the marathon. if you play hockey, swim whatever.

I've found it's mostly fatties that could care less about Sport. Well aside from Football or Rugby anyway.

I like sport. I just don't like watching it, I prefer doing it.

My Mrs likes the olympics never even played a game of squash in her life. Ps she is a size 8-10.

Small sample I agree but I think your preducides are affecting your judgement over this one.

Not really, I may get a bit more interested nearer the event but I doubt it.

Although if the female atheletes were wearing that attire then I'm sure that more chaps would tune in.
