Roller Derby World Cup

Showing that we are good at something, Team England are about to play Austrialia for 3rd place in the first Roller Derby World cup, starting around 8:20pm.

This will be followed by Team USA verses Canada for First Place.

For those that dont know what Roller Derby is, it is two teams of 5 Girls, who skate round a track, 1 girl per team is the designated point scorer who has to push her way through the pack, and scores a point for every member of the opposing team they pass.

Think rugby on skates.

England put up a good fight with a close game, but lost to Canada. England beat Australia in their final bout to clinch 3rd.

USA was undefeated scoring over 400 in each game they played, but Canada were the first team that was able to score over 10 points against the americans.
