Getting back into shooting so will be out in all weathers. Allbeit its clays and not rough shooting so no boggy marshes a lot of it will be on my friends farm. My feet are shot to bits so need something decent.
Are these any good? Or anyone have any reccomendations for the same price/

I use them when I go to Finland in winter and during summer for hiking round the forests and they work a treat.

OH's father has a pair that is 10 years old and thats what put me on to them as I always seemed to nick them when over there.

I do love Merrell. Fancied something a bit higher up the leg though. I'll take a look see if they have any.

The boots I rely on most are the super light hiking boots by Johncliffe, price is high, but so is the quality.

I walk 2-4 miles every day in all weathers with my labs and wear my Aigle neoprene lined wellies - forget the model name now - and they are very very comfy to walk in. To the point where I don't bother with my walking boots now - and the wellies are much much warmer in winter.

ETA so I wouldn't discount walking boots. If you must have walking boots, you can't go far wrong with Meindle. They have excellent customer service, can be re-soled, and are very comfy.

Surprised by these so far. I got a bargain at £40. Ezxcellent ankle support, as this is important to me as mine are knackered.

Bit OT but at a well known chain of sports retailer - 'sports' rather than sports clothing, beginning with Dec (but not Ant!) they have some Salomon walking trainers reduced from £65 to £30. And if they're half as comfy as their £90 boot counterparts, they're well worth that!
