Seeing as fishing is one of the biggest participant sports in the uk I thought there would be a thread dedicated to all things fishing related.Maybe along the lines of "show us your recent catches".

If I'm being thick and there is already one running feel free to mock and ridicule me (I'm going to regret that aint I?).If there isn't one I may start one when I get the chance to post some pics.

The profile pic is of my PB pike at 26lbs 4oz,will get a proper picture of it on the thread when I get a chance.Really was an impressive beast caught from a well known highland loch I seem to spend alot of time on to the dismay of the wife.

Again thanks for sorting the title out for me

I'm lucky enough that I have some really good pike fishing close to home with trout clubs opening their doors to pike anglers over the trout closed season.Have see one pike at 30lbs+ caught by a good friend but they are few and far between.

The big pond (lomond) still has the potential to do a 40lbs fish but its a very very daunting place to fish as are all the large lochs up here.

Trout water piking seems to have taken over as the way to catch the pike of a lifetime but I prefer the wilder waters that aint managed or restrict methods and bait choice

Another superb esox caught from a local trout water at 22lbs 8oz.
With 4 inches of snow on the ground I fear my pike fishing may be over until the new year.banghead
