"spinning" is a brand name but like "hoover" its often used to refer to a generic indoor cycle product

if you really want a "spinner" then you probably want a "spinner sport" which are about £450 from various places and the standard one you will find in 99% of all gyms. they are bombproof and offer a good workout. google threw up www.anytimeleisure.co.uk first. the starts are at www.spinning.com

if all you want is to smash the miles in over the winter, its perfect. i like them a lot and they do have their place alongside rollers and turbo trainers. my favourite work out is cycling along to Metallica and megadeth but sprinting through the guitar solos.... i find it does the job!

Cheap they are not, but if you're after a quality product, look no further.

So what is the difference between these spinning/rollers and exercise bikes, as to the traning side of things, or are they much all the same thing. I've not a clue.
