Fishing in the Solomon Islands- Anyone been?

The sport subset doesn't quite sound correct...

Anyway, as part of my elective, I'm spending eight weeks in the Solomons. Fishing rod will be coming with me.

Just wondered if anyone had been fishing there before? Any tips.
