England v Wales Rugby Union International Thread

We dont seem to have one for the game today.
I cant wait to see what Manu and Flutey do together, I think that is a very positive pairing for England, even with Manu still being inexperienced, great to see Jonno throw a kid in and see how he copes. Up against Jamie Roberts will be a big test.
Matt Stevens back. Thoughts on that folks?
England putting out a full strength back row with Mad dog, Croft and Haskell. Pace and power there and with Care and Wilko as the half backs, that could be a very interesting attacking axis. Its a bd of a defensive unit aswell!
Will be looking forward to see what Charlie Sharples can do aswell. He has looked very incisive for Gloucs.

I think England are going to beat us by three converted tries today,or it could be worse
Really? I want an England win, but I hope for Wales' sake they put in a good performance, with their recent poor results, I reckon they really need to start building positives in time for the WC.I'm expecting a cracking game, never underestimate the Welsh when they come to Twickenham, or how often the English misfire in the same arena...!
I also like the massive contrast when there's Shane Williams on one side and Manu on the other
I don't have high hopes for Wales today, particularly with our entire first choice front row out injured. But I hope we can put in a decent performance to stand us in good stead for the game in Cardiff next week.

I really rate this guy and would love for him to be Welsh! He's not as good a tight head as Adam and he's not as good a loose head as Gethin but he can play both sides which is a huge advantage and he'd be great for us given the dismal lack of strength in depth we have at prop. He reminds me a lot of Gethin Jenkins in that he's solid in the tight but can also get around the park and play a bit of rugby.Hunky Dory said:
Stephen Jones out before they even kick off. That's not a good start....
He just didn't want this to happen again... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw6F49zKkdw

I am looking forward to seeing the new midfield...I just don't think we would win RWC with Hape/Tindall so he is right to try something else. Tindall was a great player in his day (watch the RWC 2003 final to appreciate how good) but I think his time has gone at the very highest level.I cant wait to see what Manu and Flutey do together, I think that is a very positive pairing for England, even with Manu still being inexperienced, great to see Jonno throw a kid in and see how he copes. Stevens is a great bench guy and is very good around the park....be interesting to how he goes.
Corft is one of England's few real world class players, I was never the biggest fan of Moody but I think he has been a great captain and was sorely missed in the six nations, Haskell has all the ability in the world....if he plays with his brain, something he consistently failed to do when he was younger.

Great stream, thanks. Not expecting a Wales win TBH but will be watching Faletau, Priestland & North with interest as hopefully they can step up a levelThanks for the links guys.
I still think Tindall has something to offer, not been sold on Hape at this level yet though whether that's his fault or how England have been playing is open to debate.
Wales have played intelligent rugby at times.
Armitage is clearly trying to win his place in final 30 - good to see.
