Balls (rugby ones)
Discussion
I have a few rugby balls I've, erm, collected over the years from tours around the world.
But I've started wanting to add to my collection with some of the balls I saw when I was growing up.
It's too easy to get a fake 'vintage' ball....but it doesn't really mean anything to me.
I much prefer the rugby balls from the time of Carling, Campese and Sant Andre......like these...
Anyone know where I might be able to start looking?

I'd ring up some of the clubs that were big back then see if any of the old Pro's have got any they'd like to sell Clubs like Rosslyn Park or London Welsh were bigger in the 70's and probably much more likely to still be in touch with players from that era than the big clubs now.
I used to have a ball signed by the Wasps First XV from when I was at school....our Rugby teacher used to play full back for them and I won it for something or other at school. Those were the days...he used to take us to a game in the morning before playing for Wasps in the afternoon. If I still had it you'd be welcome to it!
