Looks like the Welsh club have withdrawn their Super League licence "for the next 3 years".

So is this the end for the RFL's desperate attempt to establish a club in Wales? What happens at the end of 3 years? If Crusaders are still going, do they get straight back in?

Also good news for Wakefield, who keep their Super League place, seemingly at the expense of Halifax. Tough on clubs like Halifax and Leigh, who've kept afloat in the 2nd tier (unlike Wakefield) but seemingly have no chance of promotion any time soon. Never been a fan of the franchise system (partly because of the "Shuddersfield" debacle).

Keith Senior amongst those not happy as he only signed for Crusaders a couple of weeks ago!

I can understand keef being a bit upset - I would be. I hope he finds a new club cos he might end up coming back to Leeds - the game has paassed him by for at least the last two years...

on the other hand, i tmight mean Iestyn Harris gets in volved with Leeds in some way - the sooner the better cos I 've had enough of macdermott already...Barry would have been better than Brian...

brian mac was a carthorse as a player and now it would seem as a coach too - didn't like the choice before the season still don't like it

The timing seems very odd, I don't think the players had a clue.
