HOW MUCH?!?!?!?!??!?! thats unbelievable... i appreciate its London, its a novelty to race on closed roads in the capital and its a big event but thats outrageous. thats the same price as a whole season of local events...

It's duathlon/triathlon - rich man's sport wink

Of course, that usually means the prizes are better than in running races...

My training plan for the next 12 weeks

MON

AM Run - 6.5k ( threshold pace ) 30 mins

Gym - 20k run ( race pace ) 90 mins
Ice pool



TUESDAY

Outside - 6.5km run ( threshold pace ) 30 mins
Outside - 25km Bike ( road laps x 2) 60 mins
Back to back



WEDNESDAY

AM Run - 6.5k ( threshold pace ) 30 mins
Gym - 50km Bike ( race pace ) 80 mins
Ice pool



THURSDAY

Outside - 6.5km run ( threshold pace ) 30 mins
Outside - 25km Bike ( road laps x 2) 60 mins
Back to back
Ice Bath


FRIDAY

AM Run - 6.5k ( threshold pace ) 30 mins
Gym - 20k run ( race pace ) 90 mins
Ice pool



SATURDAY
REST




SUNDAY

Outside - 65km Bike ( road laps ) ( threshold pace ) 120 mins
Outside - 6.5km run ( threshold pace ) 30 mins
Back to back
Ice Bath



TOTAL
Bike - 165k ( 102 miles )
Run - 79k ( 49 miles )

Total Training Time - 5.5 hours run + 5.3 Bike ( 10.8 hours total )
