oh come on im!!! Of course anything can happen but barring a fluke i see big wlad using all his ringsmarts to set traps for dave and have him walking onto big right hands by the halfway point.then good night nurse! Unless dave has successfully goaded him to get mad and careless early, but wlad's too savvy for that!.did you really think i'd vote for a pullout ha ha! Mind you i won't put my house on it!
Haye sounded a bit shaky in this

He actually looked scared. First time I've ever seen that. Hope I'm wrong and he was just out of sorts but Wlad will have spotted the fear if it was there.Round one to Wlad then - and by a country mile.

I just did! I think if (when) Wlad connects, Haye is gonna feel it down to his boots ... and when was he last hit hard by anyone?
harrison, ruiz and valuev(put together)don't hit as hard as wlad.vitali is more of a badass but wlad hits harder imo.his jab alone carries enough sting to stop dave in his trackstuscaneer said:
am i the only to vote in the poll for a wlad knockout?? that poll is a fking travesty!!
Don't be upset Tuscaneer - If you are correct the poll will cement your place in the PH world as an oracle come July 2.Of course it could also demonstrate the complete opposite if Haye spanks him in round 1
eta: Of course, there's a lot of British bias going on but thats only to be expected. Still, I live in hope.

yeah,i could end up with a lot of egg on my face here!!seriously, though, this is why i love heavyweight boxing.anything can(and often does)happen!!if you went back over the history of heavyweight title fights and bet on the underdog every time you would be well up in the £££££ stakes.what SHOULD happen and what DOES happen are often very different which is why i tend to judge fighters on consistency of performane over a prolonged period of time.25 title defences for joe louis wasn't a fluke and is a record that stands to this day.randolph turpin had an amazing night in london when he beat a very tired sugar ray robinson at the end of ray's european tour.he got his clock cleaned in the return 56 days later and frankly wasn't even on the same level as ray.if they had fought 20 times ray would have won 19.

My wife's grandad told me about Randolph, he also said on the return leg, SRR and his entourage, arranged for Randolph to be 'looked after' by a few attractive women, and he was convinced that was partly the reason for his lack lustre performance! (Can't back it up with anything though!) Anyway, back to 2nd July.
This has Wladmimir written all over it, and as you say, the majority of the time, Wlad will/should win this.
However, Haye does have a very decent punch, so, as with any boxing match, he has a punchers chance, but I just can't see him having enough lateral movement to get inside and unload.
Wlad KO for me (latter rounds)
Have to say, as much as I want Haye to win, Wladimir certainly seems to have the odds and stats in his favour. Can't wait to see what happens.
Wlad's just been on Sky Sports, as ever he comes across as a top guy, very grounded, and certainly winning the PR battle! http://news.sky.com/skynews/Article/20100911598972...
