I doubt it as I don't know what a fanboy is. I have asked many times over the past few years. But I never got a response, perhaps you can give me one? I am certainly not a boy anymore sadly, probably too old now.
Big fan of tennis though, that's for sure. Particularly as a competitor even at a humble local level.

Just because you don't know what one is doesn't mean you aren't one.
More generally, it is someone, typically a boy or even man, who gets excited about someone, usually famous and can get a bit defensive of when something negative or a bit close to the truth is expressed about them. The fanboy struggles mainly to remove the rose-tinted specs through which they view them, generally always being over-positive about them no matter what they do.
Hope that helps!

It does. Definitely not me. It's probably not a word that would appear in my semantic register though as it's seems to be employed by a very particular type of person, perhaps one who projects their own emotional shortcomings.More generally, it is someone, typically a boy or even man, who gets excited about someone, usually famous and can get a bit defensive of when something negative or a bit close to the truth is expressed about them.
