That was a shambles.

Bairstow should not be anywhere near this team, he's absolutely hopeless for pretty much every game.
I think that Mo and Jonny won’t be seen again in white ball. There will be changes as poor performances in the 20/50 over game will drive that. India were excellent and credit must go to them. If the coach is judged on team performances then Mott, looks on shaky ground.

Can't argue with people calling for changes. We're Notts locals and we've seen Outlaws peak and then slump, with huge drop offs from the likes of Hales, this feels similar. What was the point of even taking Duckett? We didn't really turn up.

India and SA are rightfully in the final, by far the best two in the tournament, I just hope it's an even game and not decided by pitch or toss.

Watching the IPL, India have an absolutely ridiculous strength in depth of short format players, there's loads of talented IPL Indian players absolutely nowhere near this India team, it's scary.
India are a powerful unit and have all bases covered. SA have most bases covered but haven’t performed to their potential as a batting unit yet. If they do that then they can give India a game.
As far as India’s strength in depth is concerned it’s scary. Truly scary.

That was a worthy final. India won it the hard way. The Klaasen wicket was key. Thoroughly deserved it. Bumrah is so special and Kohli used all his experience to put that score together.

I reckon that taking a pragmatic view it follows the rope as this must happen all the time with the amount of collisions that take place in T20. I have never seen it queried before by the 3rd umpire. However having said that I don’t know what the ‘rule’ is. Logically the boundaries are defined when play commences however, how easy that is to enforce I don’t know.

That makes sense to me otherwise you can imagine the implications. Common sense should prevail where possible.
