What a performance. Come on guys, Hrgovic was the big favourite, the boxer etc...credit where its due, Danny just battered him!!
A bored and lacklustre Hrgovic. A bigger puncher would have got Dubo out of there. Fair play to him, but he's not a great heavyweight tbh. Dubois seems to use his face as defence wink
Not saying he's a great heavyweight, just suggesting credit where its due. Hrgovic always fights like this, fkin Zhang beat him regardless what the record says. Brilliant jab, great chin, great engine. Result.

IMO any time he comes up against a truly world class fighter he'll lose. Like Eubank Jr, he has all the physical attributes, but...

End of the day, you can only beat what's in front of you. So let's see.

Why is Wilder coming in so light against someone who trades off of concussion punching?

Retirement beckons......

Who's going to win this one? Once upon a time I'd have said Wilder would bring the firepower wear Zhang down and make him crack and it would be a clean and easy win.

However, after Wilder vs Parker, I'm not sure if old Wilder still exists. That said, Zhang looked ponderous and slow against Parker, so I don't think either man is going into this fight in prime shape. Zhang has power but he moves like a tree, he is tough though. Deontay has that explosive power, but does he have the desire to really get in there and scrap? His career break didn't seem to do his boxing any favours but maybe his loss to Parker will have sharpened his focus.

Can't wait to see how this one plays out.

Isn't he usually about 15st4 or so....? Freakishly powerful, tall but built like a whip...

Wilder looks like he doesn't want to be in there.

Wilder can hang the gloves up. Wilder was absolutely done there, beat the count but he wasn't there.

I wouldn't mind seeing Zhang vs AJ. Great card, main event aside. Well done Queensberry. The scoring is a bit meaningless, but 10-0, bloody hell.

Wilder was terrible. Big Bang wasn't much better. Very average fight tbh.

Yup, I thought Wilder would catch him but happy to hold my hands up. Very, very wrong. For me, Usyk and Fury box Zhang ears off...but he's a nightmare, win, lose or draw for most everyone else...

Those last 2 fights showed how st heavyweight boxers are now, to be honest

Great entertainment, but outside of the best 3 it feels much of a muchness among the next 10-15 guys, and honestly, outside of Usyk, the division doesn't contain anyone who's nearly as good a boxer as top 5 guys in a lot of lower weight classes

Enjoyed that card though, hopefully shuts Eddie up for 5 mins

I would like to see Ruiz and Parker re-match.
They both have now moved right up the ratings.
Both former world title champions.

Just watched the highlights.
Wilder needs to retire, he had nothing to give and when he did through a right hand it bounced off Zhang.
Very good win for Dubois. The right hand he threw in the seventh was an absolute beauty.
Unfortunately for them the new invigorated AJ would walk through both of them with ease.

The only big fight of interest in the heavyweight division is AJ Vs Fury but I don’t think it will ever happen.

Just thought
Wilder takes one last fight and challenges Okolie for that Bridgerweight thing?

Also just watched the highlights, really pleased for nick ball.

Wilder finished

Good to see bivol get a stoppage

Dubois seems to lack defense and general skill/awareness, made up for it with power and fairly decent chin but it ain't gonna work against the rest of em moving up. I think Zhang would flatten him.

Hearn must be feeling sore today ha

Bivol and Beterbiev scheduled for October now. Like both their styles, tough to call.

Well no huge surprises last night although I didn't expect Dubious to win. He still looks so basic to me could he be the worst heavyweight champion ever if he gets handed the IBF belt?

A wider point...Saudi...I think bar the AJ fight we are done with the dustbowl now it's been great to get fights made but boy are the shows crap to watch. That card in the Garden or Wembley would have been electrifying and I would probably have stayed up til 2AM shouting at the TV. I couldn't keep my eyes open so turned in before any of the big fights. They manage to get these huge card but the atmosphere of the behind closed door covid fights. I think enough is enough now and we need a return to the proper UK/US shows.

Agreed, but the money on offer makes that unlikely.
