This type of weather is a nightmare when you are playing/watching cricket. Always looking at the sky and trying to guess where it’s coming from etc,etc. I suppose these days there is radar which gives you a pretty good clue. Frustrating though.
The problem we are having with playing is because there has been no prolonged dry spell the ground has remained saturated and any amount of rain within a few hours of play means it cant happen. Last weekend was frustrating, Saturday nice day, sun was out most of the day, Sunday similar, but in between it pissed it down overnight and the junior game on the Sunday was off because the pitch was soddenthegreenhell said:
The forecast for tomorrow doesn't seem too bad at the moment. Chance of an afternoon shower but otherwise mostly dry with some sun. I hope that hasn't jinxed it.
The forecast 3 hours out yesterday was 60% chance of light rain and it pissed it down so im not confident.PhilkSVR said:
