I assume, as has been said previously, he'll announce his retirement in the lead up to Wimbledon this year.

I do wonder if doubles might be an option though? He clearly still loves playing, so why not drop down from the huge intensity of singles.....

Would be fun to watch, but how many top singles players take that option? He has a young family too - perhaps a moment to spend more time at his hotel and work out what to do next.

It would be a travesty if he were selected to play. He isn’t the British number 1 and on current form he probably isn’t in the top 4. It should be Cam Norrie or Jack Draper.

Good win for Katie Boulter.

An excellent win - her first Tournament final and win at that level and she is playing with a very positive attitude. Career high of 27 so possibly looking at a seeding for the next Tournament and possibly Grand Slam depending on continuing this vein of form.

She is quite old at 27. Did she get enough support from the LTA when she was a junior to support her development?

She has always been in the cross hairs of the LTA and received a lot of support. If I was being slightly critical of her previous years I would suggest she is now in the best, leanest shape she has ever been in and she is realising the benefits that it brings. That sounds harsh but is often brought up by foreign press about the hunger and condition of British Ladies Tennis players and also by Dan Evans a couple of years ago.

Saw the highlights, Nardi had a nicely varied game that Djoko seemed to struggle with.
