Never ever count Mahomes out. His runs in that last possession were superb. I thought it was a tense defensive battle that had everything. Both defences gave their all and must have been exhausted at the end. Well done to the Chiefs.

Hard to bet against the Chiefs.

I thought it was a gripping game - one for the purists who love that defence still wins titles, as it did here. 49ers just couldn't break KC's defence and establish a lead they could hold.
