This kid could have 40 years at the top, what the hell could he win in that time! Mind boggling!

In most sports the following generation has been better than the previous, I guess this is what we're seeing now.
Be interesting if he sticks around or if the silk bedsheets come into play after he's won everything once and the fire in his belly leaves.

He's been incredible since the 2nd set, few players in the world at their best would be able to handle it. (MVG, Anderson, Wright, maybe?)

Incredible. The viewing figures must be bonkers, I'm glued to it and not my usual thing.

He was at a local boozer today (Bucks) signing autographs, I hope his management give him a rest!

2 bullies and a double 16! eek
Yeah that was very naughty…
He just seems so calm, unphased when on the oche, his action identical with every shot.
Classy from Cross at the end too.

James Wade the most famous in recent times I would think.
Ah yes, thank you thumbup
Barney is left handed, but throws darts with his right for some reason.

I hope his parents shield him from the media a bit, he has already had to issue his first public apology. Doesn’t matter if he wins tomorrow night or not his life for the next 12 months is going to be crazy. I hope some of the experienced former pros give him plenty of advice.

Fourth highest SF average in history. Unreal.

Also from commentary, MVG was the youngest ever winner, and he was 24!

Thanks, I didn’t know that!

Seems unusual how few top level lefties there are.

Not naughty at all, it's the accepted percentage shot for a 132!
Missing the bull and hitting the 25 still leaves an easier finish.
Missing a treble 20 first dart means you can't finish.

Very nice from Humphries. Two 12-dart legs with finishes of 121 and 136!

Luke v Luke looking likely.

I think going for 180 whilst on 182 to leave double 1 was different gravy also...no showboating, just on an altogether different confidence level to anyone I can remember.
