Littler is astonishing, isn’t he? I’m old enough to remember 17 year old Boris Becker winning Wimbledon in 1985, and Luke’s absolute fearlessness reminds me of that. Apart from Boris diving around like a goalkeeper in a penalty shootout, of course…
Luke is scoring so heavily that nobody he has played so far can stay with him long enough to put pressure on him to hit his doubles. Darts is all about hitting doubles under pressure, so it will be interesting to see how he responds if anyone can put him under any pressure. No sign of that so far.

Reminds me a bit of the F1 threads……He has nobody to fear now. He can beat Williams and I don't think there's anyone left in he can't beat if he holds his nerve.
One thing that struck me today is that he said he can read the board. He knows what he has left, he knows how to get there and knows where his opponent is. I don't see him asking what he's scored or what's left. Chizzy was asking that with 61 left. He should know that, and how to check out.

MVG has been the greatest player off the last 10 years, he has smashed the averages, won hundreds of tournaments and millions of prize money but has only won 3 world Championships. When according to you all he had to do was hold his nerve and he would have won all 10.
