Tour Championship this week.

First semi today. Second tomorrow. Final on Sunday.

O'Sullivan in the first semi against Wilson.

Can someone tell John Parrott that there is no such word as 'nothink'?

I went to bed before the snooker finished.

Does this mean that the two fat, bald men won?

I am unaware of the reasons behind people not liking Higgins - for me I'm always a fan of the 'old timers' in sports (especially snooker and darts) so I was very much hoping he'd win. I've not managed to watch much of the this year's tournament so far, but I was able to catch the final frames of this one, and very glad I saw it. Genuinely exciting stuff.
This is one of the reasons.

John Virgos commentary annoys me more each day. Stop bloody shouting. In fact just stop talking full stop and let the others do the speaking. Irritating man.
John Parrott has had his day too.

Get some fresh blood in there, but not Higgins, Murphy or Neil Robertson.

Exactly that.

As I said earlier in the thread, he should have received the same sanction as his manager Pat Mooney i.e. a lifetime ban from snooker.
bks, It's not a fking disgrace, and no he shouldn't.

They both got set-up, and he didn't know even about the meeting etc in advance. He got the fine and 6 month ban for his part in the whole thing, but didn't actually fix/throw a match. Mooney could have taken him down with him, but thankfully didn't.

But obviosly the armchair experts know better than the authorities.
This is just a wild guess, but are you from Scotland?

I found the whole series to be boring. All the people I wanted to watch were knocked out - or weren't in it! O'Sullivan, Robertson, Trump and so on.

I watched with the sound off a lot of the time. Parrott, Murphy and Virgo I find tiresome.

I went to bed before the final frame.

Sorry to be Mr Grumpy, but I have just watched some of it and it's just like watching a couple of blokes down the local snooker hall - missing pots, complete mis-judgement of shots. Very little actual talent on display.
