In the first set both players struggled to hold a service game. The second set looks like it was very one-sided.

ER was 4-2 down after a few net cords and one bad umpire decision went against her, then slowly but very surely got her service and game together to win the next ten games.

Stephens wasn't unlucky or playing bad but did lose some heart and half a step once she went 3-0 down in the second set.

Women convert their serves less than men because of their lower height and upper body strenght so not necessarily a good metric, particularly with two great returners like today.
Incredible second set, reminiscent of USO 21.

Loved the message to the online hating weirdos at the end: "my own pace".
