The preceding match has just finished, so Boulter-v-Raducanu will be on court soon.

You'd think she'd not get a much better opportunity than this to win her first WTA250 title, post her US Open win, or at least get to the final. Most of the world top 50 are not entered and the top ranked player Jabeur in the other half of the draw getting knocked out.

She's got to contend with Boulter who's eclipsed her in the rankings, but you'd think she'd fancy her chances.

What a battle.

Some mistakes by Boulter incl that double fault and a nasty fall for Radu that’s hopefully not affected her game..

Both playing well, but that grass seems slippy.

That was a good contest, just what she needs to get match sharp.

Presumably it will be semi-final in the morning and final in the afternoon.

Looks like Pliskova plays Parry in their semi-final match this morning, before Raducanu and Boulter conclude theirs later..
Rain showers permitting..!

ER turns down a wildcard for the Olympics. Although it’s on clay that she doesn’t fancy herself on, seems a strange decision. Presumably she wants more court time on the US hard court swing?

A bit surprising, but she was slipping about a bit on the grass yesterday. With more of the bigger tournaments played on clay, she might focus more on this surface Post-Wimbledon.

Ian Poulter?

I’m not surprised Boulter one that one - she’s Top 30 in the world now and has been playing a lot of big matches recently.
Despite the loss, I thinks that’s a positive sign for Raducanu - she competed well for 3 sets in a pretty physical / hard-hitting match and gave as good as she got.

Missed it what the hell happened? She was fighting harder yesterday, hopefully that wasn't injury related. She should really be able to wipe the floor with Boulter.

Rather disrespectful to the actual winner of the tournament.
I think you’ll find that ER is some way off the match fitness and form that will let her regularly compete with top 30 ranked players.

Boulter is a good workhorse but she's no champion, Wimbledon 2nd round at best. Good match play practice but FFS it's only Nottingham, so disappointing from ER after the first set tie break last night. Damn weather...

Let’s see where they are at the end of the summer…
