Why is that bad? For all of the condemnation of his comments, he is still winning, and the newest generation are falling short. AIUI Trump is one of very few, possibly even the only player with a positive HTH record against Ronnie, but perhaps this has been solved. I cannot understand why Ronnie being at the pinnacle of the sport is viewed as a negative, especially when we were fortunate enough to witness the semi-final against Ding.

I think I may have some news for you.

You not supporting him, will not make a difference to him winning.

Always been a big Ronnie fan. He will be a contender for the WC if he plays like this and his head is right.

that session against Ding was sensational!

Er ...... I have somehow worked out that me thinking about something doesn't make it happen. confused

The reason is simply that I find the same person or team winning things boring. That's not a strange view is it? Same way I don't want to see someone win 5-0 in frames. Competition and uncertainly is what I enjoy in sport.

Any snooker match between the top 16 should be right up your street then. The root of your complaint is a dislike of ROS. No problem, not everyone likes him. ROS doesn't win every tournament and his recent victories have involved comebacks where his opponent should've arguably won.

I enjoy watching Ronnie play because of how quick he is around the table, plus he is a genius no doubt. However I have got to the stage where I wish the players that play him were more successful at actually beating him though now.

He must be loving it as his age though, especially with how easy he can beat most of the players in fairness for sure. Plus imagine how well Ronnie would play if he actually gave a st too! He can beat almost everyone just in autopilot mode I reckon.

He said recently in one of his interviews that he has a dodgy leg, dodgy arm and failing eyesight and still no one can beat him!!

I don't particularly dislike him. I find him quite amusing.

Look forward to an interview with one of the players saying what a nice place Saudi is, based on the fact he didn't see any amputated hands in his 5 star hotel buffet

This lad Aaron Hill is a handy player, Selby's grinding tactics aren't working with him.

All over now, Hill did play well, almost returning every snooker left by selby with a snooker!

Ryan Day (vs Higgins) not managed a break over 30, I think some of us on here would give him a game even after 10 pints of Stella

Doesn't look like a pro, just some random club player

I find Higgins very unlikable after the ban and the way the BBC doesn't mention it ever. If it was some random Chinese player they'd be all over it
