I'm by no means an apologist for Borthwick but to be fair, Slade's Premiership form has gone up a notch or two, at the same time three of the centres ahead of him in the RWC pecking order (Lawrence, Marchant, Tuilagi) are not available for selection for the 6N, so it's no that remarkable.
Certain players just don't work at International level- Cipriani is a classic example and I feel Slade is similar.basherX said:

Regrettably no tasting notes on Steiny this weekend. I'm in Plymouth having a weekend away. Currently in The Dolphin on the Barbican drinking Bass.

So it makes no sense (unless you're a Kiwi) that I've bet on both teams over 2.5 tries and a yellow card in the match at 11/2.
