That was Stephen Hendry I think. And basically said he looked old even when he was young. Not exactly a compliment. biggrin

Just watched the Trump v Cao game.

I fell asleep twice and they were still going when I woke up. Dear me!

It went on for ever.

What is your favourite 147?

For me Henry vs White at WC, pink and blue stuck together in the middle of the table followed by black into blind pocket with risk of in off

Ronnie's mesmeric 5-minute 20-second at the Crucible in 1997.

Can’t believe that was over 25 years ago.

They were talking about Shaun Murphy the other day during one his matches, saying he was very different to most (if not all players). Wears a proper bow tie, which they said most players wouldn't be able to even tie one, wears some red felt dinner jacket or something and knocks about in a Rolls Royce. I can imagine he is a bit pompous!
In few words.. Murphy's a tosser. biggrin Describes himself as a 'showman'. That's all you need to know. biggrin

It’s all getting a bit heated between ROS and AC. They clearly loathe one another. I love a bit of needle, and no surprise it’s The Captain who’s providing it. Must be some Essex badland bad blood.
Charity boxing match? I'd love to see that. biggrin

Unfortunately as I mentioned on the proper snooker thread (what happened to it?) I think they are lining him up to be a commentator; he’s done a few guest spots already.

So we’ll be seeing him for the next 40 years.

Ronnie is just untouchable at the moment, 5-1 up and flying

That is sort of performance it is a privilege to witness. This man is capable of heights that no other player can even consider. Remarkable.

4 century breaks in 6 frames. That last pink was a lovely pot too.

I think this is a very nice snooker thread...

It is intended to be a generic rather than an event specific thread.

What a bizarre game trump has not let Ronnie settle at all while potting ball with easy but 4th frame rather scrappy

Strange about RoS despite his brilliance - long potting wise he is probably not the best, would put these players ahead of him

Trump
Hendry
Willams

Do people think his long potting has declined even though maybe his overall game is better now?
