It's finally open, can't help but feel there will be a few prangs.
A truly bizarre setup for a junction that needed a sensor on one set of traffic light to fix the original problem.
Still fingers crossed it will cut 20 minutes off my 300yd journey to Northampton Rd.

PS has anyone got a vague clue as to what on earth the traffic lights at the end of the A14 sliproads are for?
At the top i could understand stopping traffic going down the slip road but at the bottom? Accident potential again, so your stuck at lights 10 yds from the A14 at which point you need to accelerate to match road speed, anybody got a car that can hit 60 to 85mph in 10 yds?

On a similar subject, how did they let them put the "on slip" out of the Woodlands Hospital? Realise now there's an easier way on, but the direct sliproad is lethal eek

There's a couple of junctions on the M6 near Birmhingham that have had lights at the end of the sliproad for about 15 years or more but Ive never seen them in use!

Id be up for the 60 in 10 yards challenge LOL

yes It does seem strange.

I heard somewhere that it's the busiest junction in the county...?

Note to self - the middle one takes you up the hill - not the right as I tried this morning.

It's entirely possible that forms part of The Highway Code, mind..

Drove through it twice tonight.

Managed to narrowly avoid Muppets each time. rolleyes
