Sorry mate.

Looks like its going to cost me as much for my oil pressure sender unit as it will for your tyre.

There are no stains on the jacket => it never happened!

Still not enough, clearly - we needed at least a Project Manager, a Healt & Safety representative, HR and a Six Sigma bloke involved.

Can't really leave a job to a bunch of engineers, can we?

6.

Well 7 if you count the lady at the RAC call centre. Who was very helpful until I found out that I actually did have a spare banghead Oh well, last time I believe product specs in car brochures...

Thanks to Kwikfit for wanting to rip me a new one on the Sunday. Glad I waited till this morning. James @ TheGarage in Old Wolverton sorted me right out with a identical replacement to what was on it for less than half what KwikFit wanted.

Thanks for the banter and assistance though guys smile

When all else fails RTFM

I forgot about this run, did intend to perhaps turn up, I'm now very sorry I didn't as I enjoy seeing other car owners suffer

. . . and I'd have at least have suggested checking the car's manual, you know I would, and luxuriated in having done so - next time please ring me when you have trouble I need all the good laughs I can get :miserablegit:

Anyway where were all your TVRs tongue out

Run, what run?

This was just coincidence that saw several PH'ers end up at the same location drinking tea and talking bks while trying to fix one car, failing and breaking another in the process.

I have since looked... The manual states the car comes with a can of tyre weld (which is true with all of them with the larger wheels)

You can't trust these modern manuals they're translated into too many languages

Anyway I don't trust you computer types - custard test required with photo of said page and description signed by manufacturer's MD

If I didn't missing the run last Sunday I wonder what it was I forgot and missed

I wont bother with this Sunday's run as it's main roads I'm not taking the car out of hibernation, scrapping the grease off the chrome and spending a day detailing the engine bay and tuning the exhaust for straight roads

Yeah, thanks, why not, a nice whoft down to see some VW MINIs, cool

And extra ballast to push the old boy back

I'll bring the 4-LIFE you bring the oil (I assume you're running on fully sync or are you still running the engine in)

Front seat or boot?
