With apologies to Central and Tony Vid, I'll start this with the otter (yep - definitely not a mink) that scuttled over the road in front of me on my commute... actually just over the border in Cambs but I'm claiming it smile

Nice spot!

Saw a Kingfisher on the river by Sainsbury's in MH last weekend. Over the border but if you're having the otter I'm having the Kingfisher tongue out

We have Red Kites local to our village, they are always flying over the house, I took this pic a week or so ago in the field behind our house

Great pic; they're not the easiest of critters to photograph and always seem to disappear at the first sign of a camera! Interesting thing about that one is it's not tagged so must have been wild hatched rather than part of the release programme. Fantastic creatures yes

There are quite a few round here, and dont seem too bothered by people as they are always quite low over the village

There was a tree full of what I think were waxwings outside Abington library last week. There must have been 50-100 of them, all sitting in the tree, then all flying down to the grass, then all flying over to the roof of a nearby house, then back to the tree again. I was parked next to the tree and sat and watched them with my little boy for ages, they were so pretty.

ears Hello peeps!

Where was the otter?

I saw a very lazy bumble bee on Saturday morning - the warmth must have woken it up...then when it stuck its head out the wind must have given it a right shock!

Otter was near Papworth. Couldn't believe what I'd seen but enquiries have indicated there are a few in Cambs around there and is a fishery place nearby so I'm assuming the critter was patrolling drainage ditches that run to the lakes there.
